Question on gallery connection with sharepoint folder in folders

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set up a gallery that is suppose to connect to specific folders in a Documents folder within Sharepoint.  I just cant find a correct way to connect to a subfolder inside a gallery. 

I tried "Filter(Documents,'Folder path'="Documents/Modules/" & Gallery2.Selected.moduleID) "

But all I get is just void. Would appreciate any kind of help, thanks in advance.

How big is your document library?  If it has more than 2000 items in it, then you will not be able to do this with that formula.

First - The Folder Path is a calculated column that cannot be delegated.  Next, keep in mind that document libraries really do NOT have folders.  Folders are just special Items in the library (which is just a big list).  So, folders count toward to the total count of library items.

Thanks for the reply, size is not an issue for my case. I just need to be able to achieve this connection of the gallery to the subfolder. Do you have any ideas how exactly do I do it? I tried the solution proposed in the post:

Right now, I usually achieve a connection to a gallery by making a connection to a sharepoint connection.

Let's divide the error, If you just do the following, are you getting any values - Filter(Documents,'Folder path'="Documents/Modules/" )

Are you getting the folder under this path?

the gallery stays empty when I do this. The only time where the gallery actually show something is when the items property is just Documents (After I add the sharepoint connection to it of course). I tried many times with different format of writing the folder path, but it just won't work. 

Not even Filter(Documents, 'Folder path' = "Documents/") works.

Documents is your folder name that you want to use?

When you state that size is not the problem, are you saying that there are less items than the record limit you have set in your app - this includes files and folders total as again, a folder is not a real thing in a doc library...it is just another item.

Finally, as a test, put a label on your screen and set the Test property to: First(Documents).'Folder Path'

See what the full name of one of the folder paths is.  Then use that in your actual filter to make sure you are getting the proper folder name.

That did indeed clear my problem, many thanks. I didn't know instead of Documents it should have being shared documents..........
