Regarding modern Combo box control with Select All option

Hi, folks hope you are having a great day. I need one help with combo box modern control taken from Ms - teams which allows checks box like experience used in my apps. I attached one additional item using collection 'Select All' option in combo box control which in when when users select 'Select All option all options should be automatically selected.
I used formula as below in ON select property as below
If(Combobox1.Selected.value = "Select All", Filter(combobox1.Selecteditems , Value<>"Select All"),Combobox1.Selecteditems but I think the formula may not work correctly due to checkboxes used in modern control combo box or need to implement Isselected anywhere , didn't understand how to resolve any solutions would be really appreciated.
Any solution will be really appreciated.

Hi,

You need a global variable for this combo box or Dropdown to work. I had no issue after testing this. Always have testing screen whenever you wanted to implement something and from there you can work out on the live screen.

I give you a scenario where the options "Select All", "Yes" and "No".

from this Selection it's easy for me to explain this way and guide on your requirements.

For this example, I will use a Modern dropdown.

OnChange: If(DropdownCanvas1.Selected.Value="Select All",Set(Varselect,true),Set(Varselect,false))

As for the checkbox, try using the classic checkbox as its give more options and versatility.

Checkbox 1 "Select All" on Default: If(DropdownCanvas1.Selected.Value="Select All",true,Varselect)

Checkbox 2 "Yes" on Default: If(DropdownCanvas1.Selected.Value="Yes",true,Varselect)

Checkbox 2 "No" on Default: If(DropdownCanvas1.Selected.Value="No",true,Varselect)

Test this out on new screen and see if the thing success. Then you can implement on your live screen if you think this is the thing that you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

Hi @KamranPatel100,

Do you want to populate the ComboBox will all the options when you select "Select All" option from ComboBox?

Actually, it will cause circular reference, which is not allowed.

What's more, if you have this select all in your dropdown list, options you want to auto-populate are conflict with the situation that you select the "Select All".

As a workaround, you must perform this select all action outside of the ComboBox.

Best Regards,
Qi

Hi users thanks for your response but we didnt have the options to select multiple options in dropdown control so we need to go with combo box control can we go with any collections apprach by setting variables to it

Hi @KamranPatel100,

Confused..., what you mean by "we didnt have the options to select multiple options in dropdown control so we need to go with combo box control"?

Be clear to describe your need, please.

What exactly you want to achieve?

when users select 'Select All option all options should be automatically selected. Make the ComboBox selected all the options except "Select All"?

Best Regards,
Qi

Hi user thanks for your response as per your comments let me clarify with the requirements
I want a combo box control which is a type of modern check box control. I added one additional option in it 'Select All' . When I select 'Select All' all available options must be get selected i.e tick mark on it how to achieve this pls suggests.

Hi @KamranPatel100,

So you have a group of Checkbox to replace with ComboBox, right?

A tip for you, sometimes, a screenshot is the best method to describe everything.😂

If there is only checkbox, why you refer to ComboBox selected items, please do provide screenshots to describe your scenario this time.

Best Regards,
Qi

Hi users, will send you the screenshots of it if you want for check box control which I used in my power apps. The all options must be selected when I select 'Select All' in combo box
