Rename student names (all occurrences) in student records

My Canvas application manages student records and I want to provide renaming feature to user.

Example: 
My student record Dataverse table has 500+ records. Sample student record extract shared here.

I want to allow user to change student name.

For example: User can open student form and can rename student name from “Tom Smith” to “Tom William S”.

I am unable to rename all occurrences of “Tom Smith” to “Tom William S” in Datavase table with my code.

I want all occurrences of student name in database must be replaces when user click OK button on Rename pop-up box.

My code for student renaming in Renaming pop-up box  "OK" buttton is:

My code is renaming the first occurrence of student name "Tom Smith" in data table and skipping the occurrences of Tom Smith in row #3,4,9 in data table.

Any suggestions to rename all occurances of student name in table?
OR
Any suggestion on how to use repeat loop on data table rows to match student ID and rename them if student id match found?

If you want to update all of the occurrences of the name in the table, you can filter the table to find all records with the old student name first, and then update each record individually using a loop.

Set(oldName, Gallery_student_Names.Selected.Student_Name);
Set(newName, Txt_Rename_Student_Name.Text);


ClearCollect(
    RecordsToUpdate,
    Filter(
        Student_database,
        Student_Name_in_Master_DB = oldName
    )
);

ForAll(
    RecordsToUpdate,
    Patch(
        Student_database,
        LookUp(
            Student_database,
            Student_ID = Gallery_student_Names.Selected.Student_ID
        ),
        { Student_Name_in_Master_DB: newName }
    )
);

The first part creates variables for the old and new names, then we get all the records with the old names, and the last part should update each record with the new name.

This needs a bulk update, so, use UpdateIf function would be preferred:

UpdateIf(
Student_database,
Student_ID = Gallery_student_Names.Selected_student_ID
),
{Student_Name_in_Master_DB: Txt_Rename_Student_Name.Text}
);
