Thanks again for your help with the combobox question yesterday. I'm sorry to ping you again so soon, but I have a similar situation that is just different enough that I'm having a hard time solving it on my own. I'd be super grateful if you could help me again.
Problem Statement:
In my Shipping Request Edit Form, I have 2 dropdown controls (not comboboxes) with 2 related text fields. The text fields are manually filled in by the user versus being auto-filled per the dropdown selection.
The screenshot above is from the New Request Screen. If a user goes to the Edit Screen and changes the Shipping Method to anything other than “Other” and/or changes the Payer from "Customer" or "Third Party" to "CSO", the values that were entered into the Other Ship Method field and Account Number field are retained in the Sharepoint data source. As a point of clarification, the Account Number field appears when the payer is not equal to CSO. This causes conflicting information in the change alert that is sent to Logistics, and the Request Form PDF (see screenshots below). Logistics isn't sure how to process the request because of the conflicting information. I've attached screenshots of my data cards and Sharepoint list settings. Thanks Randy! That did the trick! I'm tucking it into my learning/utility toolbelt right now. I played with the CSS table styling a bit while I was waiting for your reply. I really like the Power Automate "Get changes for an item or a file (properties only)" action. I wrote an expression to highlight the fields that have changed so the Shipping Crew won't have to compare old versions of PDFs to new ones in order to verify which fields have changed. I just have to tweak the CSS a little more to get rid of the white line that is appearing in some of the table rows.
