Save and retrieve pictures in Share Point

Hi there,

I hope someone can provide a clear explanation and also please an "EASY" way to achive this?

For a couple of years I have been trying to upload pictures using my app and a share point list. the only solution so far was saving the URL base64. By doing this I was able for the rest of my coworkers to see the pictures in their devices. Because Shaere point doesn't support picture authentication "Microsoft guy said that".

I have all my pictures stored as a base64 text but is a pain in the neck to download those pictures to create for intance a report.

Anyone know a good solution without invloving code/flow/etc? I mean a simple solution for a person who knows the basic?

Sorry to bother you again, I have added the attachment control in my form, and for some reason I only can see in my iPad "Getting your data..." and also I am not being able to upload anything so no controls are available in the section

Do you know what could be the issue?

Well, at least you figured it out. 

I have one like that....it started small and then grew big and now it is a hot mess. I am thinking about stopping and rebuilding it cleaner so I can have less issues with it.

Is for an edit form, I have pretty much everything done, right now is not saving the new attachment but I guess is the update fuction. If I upload the files from my SP List then I am able to see or download those in my Ipad. but If I want to upload from my iPad I can but they are not saved back to my SPL

Only thing I can think of is make sure you have the EditForm(frmName) on the button that navigates to that screen, that the form is set in edit mode and then:

Card - Default = ThisItem.'{Attachments}'

          Update = DataCardValue1.Attachments 

          DataField = "{Attachments}"

DataCardValue1 - Items = Parent.Default

All this stuff should fill in automatically correctly...but it doesn't always. 

Hope you figure it out and then get a break for the holidays to not look at it..lol!

I would like to resign but there have been many hours that I have tried to complete this, I will not even spend company  time, most of this in my spare time.

anyway I have followed this tutorial and I'm moving a little further, I can already see the files on my ipad, but I can not get them to save them back to my share point list.

If I upload the files in share point I can see them on the ipad. but if I try to add or delete a new one from my ipad, nothing happens.

Is it just the attachments section your having trouble with...have you tested any of the the other fields to see if they are working right to make sure if it is just the one thing or if it is the whole form?

Other fields works fine, except this attachments, going mental!!!
