I want to have a simple wavier form. Type your name, type your email, and then sign your name with the pen to give your consent. I can make the form. I can send an email. What I cannot figure out how to do is to send the image file. If I send the PenInput1.Image I get a blob link. 😞
I have seen crazy ways to get that output out via Flows and APIs but surely I am missing a more straightforward solution with PowerApps? Save the input to a local file and then email that local file as an attachment.
Suggestions?
Thanks

Okay, so I had to fix several things due to name, etc. If I just do the images it works fine, when I throw it combined with signature it fails with Attachement Name cannot be blank.
Office365.SendEmail("YourEmail@Yahoo.com","Inventory Receipt "& POorJob,"Recipient "& Name.Text& "Email " & EmailAddress & "Date of Receipt "&TodaysDate& " Pallet Count "& 'Pallet Count'& " Box Count " &Boxes& " Condition of Shipment "&'Material Condition',{Attachments:Table({Name:"peninput.jpg",ContentBytes:Signature.Image,'@odata.type':""},{Attachements:MyPix2})})
It seems that if I only do one or the other they work fine, but once I combine the signature and the MyPix they do not.
I would like to add that when Typed it does accept the string. It is not until it is selected/ran that it errors.
Try this - you first need to collect the pen input into the MyPix2 collection and then send it. the statement that you were using , though had some logical error, it wasn't wrong from syntax and that's why you were not getting an error unless executed.
Collect(MyPix2,{Name:"peninput.jpg",ContentBytes: Signature.Image,'@odata.type':""});Office365.SendEmail("youremail@gmail.com","Subject" , "Body Text",{Attachments:MyPix2})
Let me know if this doesn't work.

Vivekb, I just wanted to say thank you. There were some glitches but it is functioning. Responded with the corrections twice but for some reason my replies were posted and removed. The for all with check box does not seem to work all photos continue to be sent in attachement. But I am very pleased with what is working. Will publish it to team tomorrow for their use.
Thanks again, TK
This is very intresting. I tried this with flow opnly the signature was not working. Now it works only not togheter and i don't want to use flow if it is not needed.
Mine problem is when i want to add HTML in my body text.
Same as @TKSequoyah i have the issue that when i do it seppertly it works only when i combine it together it doesn't
The code is as followed: (Sending mail with html)
Office365.SendEmail("abc@abc.com";"Werkbon" & Datum_Text & Klantnaam_Text.Text; Werkbon_Html_1.HtmlText;{IsHtml:true})
The code Sending mail with signature:
Office365.SendEmail("abc@abc.com";"Werkbon" & Datum_Text & Klantnaam_Text.Text; Werkbon_Html_1.HtmlText;{Attachments:Table({Name:"HandtekeningKlant.jpg";ContentBytes:Handtekening_Text.Image;'@odata.type':""})})
And if i combine these togheter i get errors.
Office365.SendEmail("abc@abc.com";"Werkbon" & Datum_Text & Klantnaam_Text.Text; Werkbon_Html_1.HtmlText;{IsHtml:true};{Attachments:Table({Name:"HandtekeningKlant.jpg";ContentBytes:Handtekening_Text.Image;'@odata.type':""})})
P.S. Where i have ; in the code i see every one is using , When i use the , nothing is working for me in Powerapps.
Kind regards,
I believe it's just a syntax error. Try this -
Office365.SendEmail("abc@abc.com";"Werkbon" & Datum_Text & Klantnaam_Text.Text; Werkbon_Html_1.HtmlText;{Attachments:Table({Name:"HandtekeningKlant.jpg";ContentBytes:Handtekening_Text.Image;'@odata.type':""});IsHtml:true})
Let me know if you still have an issue. ( hopefully should not )

Thank you it works now. I see what i did wrong. 🙂
Other question. Is it posible to send the HTML and the Signature in one attachment?
It could be Excel, jpg, pdf or ...
Ok never mind below question is working now maybe to difficult but i did it like.
& Reset (klantnaam_Text) & Reset (field02) & Reset ..........)
Oh and is it posible to reset al fields onclick. It works with one field like this.
Office365.SendEmail("abc@abc.com";"Werkbon" & Datum_Text & Klantnaam_Text.Text; Werkbon_Html_1.HtmlText;{Attachments:Table({Name:"HandtekeningKlant.jpg";ContentBytes:Handtekening_Text.Image;'@odata.type':""});IsHtml:true}) & Reset(Klantnaam_Text)
The & Reset (Klantnaam_Text) works how can i add more fields?
Kind regards
Glad it worked out.
I am a bit confused on your previous comment. Are you still looking for an answer to -
"Is it posible to send the HTML and the Signature in one attachment?"
If yes,
My understanding is you want to see a signed document like an excel or pdf that combines the Html text on the the top of the document and then puts the signature on the bottom and then sends it out in an email or something.
Is my understanding correct?
Yo might have to use flow if this is the case, as powerapps itself doesn't have a possibility to create such a document.
If you can confirm, i will try to test it out and send you the details of how to do it.

I'm Sorry i had 2 questions in one post 😉
Yes, you are correct. I have a form with signature and the most perfect way to send this is as an Excel or better as an PDF or JPG. (Not editable file format)
Thanks. @ThatAPIGuy
