Sharepoint form: codependent comboboxes?

Jeez, they finally fixed PowerApps...Couldn't do nothing all morning.

Anyway. What I'm trying to acheive is the following: I'm editing a Sharepoint list form, and two of the columns come from Comboxes (Product and Product Number). These comboboxes take their data from an Excel table with two columns named the same (Product and Product Number). 

Is there a way that if the user selects Product XXX it automatically chooses for Product Number the data correspondent to that in the excel table? I want it to be both ways, as well.

In chatGPT it recommended using the LookUp + Filter functions, but I couldn't manage for it to work.

When you say you want it to be both ways, that will create a circular reference. What do you mean by that?

By circular you mean a never ending loop? Damm...

I mean that the user can choose whether to input the Product name or the Product Number (big company and as of now no one uses the same data input). I mean, after he inputs 1 he should not touch the other field and just save the form.

So, there's no way to make it like I'm trying to?

I also thought that it could maybe be that when you choose the Product number, this data goes to a text box, which then the Product name field somehow grabs and uses it? But dunno if that's possible or even how to go about this.

You can set the Product Name based on the Product Number.

If you need the Product Number to set the Product Name as well, then it's going to be a never-ending loop of them trying to set each other.

Can you post a screenshot of your form and then one of us can direct you with some code to enter?

It's in Spanish but I highlighted the fields that are troubling me. So in the end, what i want is that everything matches the Excel doc. But I see your point and think this way could be impossible...

Is there a way then that based on the info user selecs in ex Product, it auto fills the Product Number directly in the sharepoint witouth having to do something in the form?

Or, if you see another way to get this result, would really appreciate it.

Here's what you should do. In the OnChange property of each combobox, set a local variable, like so:

Then in the DefaultSelectedItems property, set it to that variable, if it exists (which is what the Coalesce function checks):

Now I can change either dropdown and it will update the other, but without a circular reference.
