Solution connection references without dataset Override

Hello papps people. 

After years of development, we finally start using Solution to distribute our papps erp system to our customers. It saved us a ton of time, but we have som issues. All our sp list connections are now environment variable, but we have som issues.

When exporting and importing a solution we find some apps are working just fine, but others we get a pink error message unknown error. After fidling around we found the data source is not working. By removing it and than connect it back (via environment variable) it works fine. 

We thought it was a variable error, but no. We tried to reconnect in the master version, this helped for some lists, but not all. 

We then unzipped the solution file and start looking around. In the Customizations.xml we found som very interesting things (alos confusing and anoying). 

The apps with this problem has multiple Connection References. The first reference has maybe 80% of the list, and they allways end with following code:

{"datasetOverride":{"name":"https://mySite.sharepoint.com/sites/SBS","environmentVariableName":"mrp_siteOmraade"}

On the second (and third) connection reference which contains the rest of the list (and the list here is confirmed to not working (we need to manually remove and connect them on import site) does not contain this "code". 

Also, further in the connection references line "a good connection" has this:

{"tableName":"xxxx-593b-4fc9-xxxx-e8ceeb137359","tableNameOverride":{"environmentVariableName":"mrp_Referanser"}}

While the bad one is missing the tableNameOverride:

I have now tried to remove and re add these lists multiple time in the master version, but they still end up with no Override. 

I have tried remove the lists, publish the app, publish the solution and export it. Lists are still there. 

I have tried remove, publish, and then add them, but they are still in their own connection without the references. 

I could edit the customizations file directly I guess(?), but I would prefer it to work without. 

Any help or hints where to start is appreciated.
