Hi all,
I have this scenario:
I have a combobox with the values of account name.
When selecting an account name, the second combobox automatically filters the numbers corresponding to the account I selected.
The problem is when I submit, it doesn't register all the lines in the sharepoint list. And when I had to test, combobox 2 is not possible to get all the values I have to select all. but I don't even need to select, I just want those values to all be recorded in the sharepoint list.
Can someone help,please ?

Hi @Anonymous ,
I think I have it, but after exploring all sorts of complex data gathering, the answer it seems may be further back.
I have just got test app fields going as below. The collection is under it
- using your field names - DropDown2 - Items - do not specify a field
Filter(
[@PowerBIIntegration].Data;
outlet_name in Dropdown1.SelectedItems
)
I then collected as you do, but in the OnChange property of ComboBox2
ClearCollect(
mycol,
ComboBox2.SelectedItems
)
When I looked at the collection, it had both fields (in fact all fields) in it as the second ComboBox did not specify a field - you do that over in Edit >Date >Single choice the Primary Text under it.
You can then Patch the collection as it has all the data.

Hi @Anonymous ,
I will show you how to get all the values, separated by commas, but need the Items property of the DropDown.
For the example below, I will use the name Accounts for your list, AccountName for the matching field, AccountNo for the numbers and NameChoose for other drop down.
This code needs to go in the Update property of the card containing the second DropDown where you want all the values.
You really only needs to replace the bits after Filter( with the names of your Items in the second DropDown.
Concat(
Filter(
Accounts,
AccountName = AccountChoose.Selected.AccountName
).AccountNo,
AccountNo & ","
)

Hi @WarrenBelz ,
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, it is not the expected result
What I want is: the user chooses an account name, and in the database (sharepoint list) contain the name of the account and another column with the numbers that are related to that selected account.
For example:
First Dropdown items (account_name):
Distinct(
[@PowerBIIntegration].Data;
outlet_name
)
Second Dropdownitems (nº):
Filter(
[@PowerBIIntegration].Data;
outlet_name in [@PowerBIIntegration].Data.outlet_name;
outlet_name = Dropdown1.Selected.Result
)
And Submit button:
ClearCollect(
mycol;
Dropdown1.Selected.Result;
Dropdown2.Selected.sold_to
);
ForAll(
mycol,
Patch(
Churn_delete_users,
Defaults(Churn_delete_users),
{
Outlet_name: mycol[@outlet_name],
Sold_to: mycol[@sold_to]
}
)
)
I think that in dropdown 2, I can't put it as selected, because I don't want the selected values, I want all the values that are related to the account name.
Once again, thank you for your help
Hi @Anonymous ,
Sorry, I misunderstood where you wanted this list written (mine was to one field. Have a look at the below and tell me if this is what you are after (I have used computer manufacturers and model, but the principle is the same).
Hi @WarrenBelz ,
Yes it is, but you need to go to the second combobox in "Default SelectedItems" and put the same formula you're using on "Items".
And it automatically gets all selected items.
Now my problem is to submit all the records in the sharepoint list. The submit button I am using this formula:
Patch(
Churn;
Defaults(Churn);
{
Account_name: ComboBox1.Selected.Result;
Number_to: ComboBox2.Selected.number_to
}
)
Hi @Anonymous ,
The screen shot was DropDowns, but I have put the code in ComboBoxes and they work the same.
For the examples, I have used the Items property for both (not DefaultSelectedItems) - you can translate these to your field names.
First Combo
Sort(
Manufacturers.Title,
Title,
Ascending
)
with Title being the manufacturers's name
Second Combo
Filter(
Devices,
ManufacturerName=ComboBox1.Selected.Title
).'Device Name'
The SharePoint Patch should be as you have done it
Patch(
Churn;
Defaults(Churn);
{
Account_name: ComboBox1.Selected.Result;
Number_to: ComboBox2.Selected.number_to
}
)
provided number_to is the equivalent of 'Device Name' in my example.

Hi @WarrenBelz,
I tried but the problem is even when I submit.
When I choose, for example, two accounts name, where these accounts name has 43 numbers.
For example:
When I submit these two accounts, this returns me:
Just an account name, and the number is just a replicated number. And what I want is two accounts with the right number. Account name 1 will be repeated (42 times) with the right numbers and the other account appears once with the right number.
I am using this formula (Submit button):
ForAll(
ComboBox2.SelectedItems; /* <-- The AccountNameComboBox represents the ComboBox within the AccountName data */
Patch(
Churn;
Defaults(Churn);
{
Account_name: ComboBox1.Selected.Result;
Number_to: ComboBox2.Selected.number_to
}
)
)
Hi,
I'm almost done. I put this code and it returns these values to me.
Submit Button (OnSelect)
Collect(
mycol;
ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result;
ComboBox2.SelectedItems.number_to
);;
ForAll(
mycol;
Patch(
Churn;
Defaults(Churn);
{
Account_name: mycol[@Result];
Number_to: mycol[@number_to]
}
)
)
Values:
But the structure of the table is not correct.
The first value in column 2 should be in line with the first line in column 1. And the second value in column 2 should be in line with the second line in column 1.
And the remaining blank lines in column 1 should be filled with the name Valser Heimdienst, in this case.
I have a problem with the relationship between column 1 and column 2.
Any suggestions?
OK @Anonymous ,
One more easy step - you just need to get the account name back - this is now "separated" from the account number ComboBox choices so lets get it back
ClearCollect(
mycolx;
ComboBox2.SelectedItems.number_to
);;
ClearCollect(
mycol;
AddColumns(
mycolx;
"Account Name";
ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result
)
);;
ForAll(
mycol;
Patch(
Churn;
Defaults(Churn);
{
Account_name: mycol[@Result];
Number_to: mycol[@number_to]
}
)
)
