Thanks @sriharibs . I can see that this is the case in our sandbox environment: will this still be the case when Wave 1 updates are applied to production environments in April?

Yes that’s right @Anonymous . Even when Wave 1 updates are applied to production environments in April, this feature will not be auto-enabled for you. It will still be an opt-in experience. If you have any product feedback that prevents you from enabling it in production, we want to hear it and learn more. Thank you!

That's great news and I'm very grateful to you @sriharibs for confirming this. It gives us time to fully prepare for our business for these changes.

Currently, in the testing environment, when I attempt to initiate a new advanced find from the Dataverse search, the filters for my default view are automatically populated in the Advanced Find card and I have to remove each one in order to build a new view. Is it possible that this will be changed in the future?

Hi @kjackson This is not on our immediate roadmap but we'll consider this feedback to make future improvements. Thank you for flagging.

I am unable to figure out how to set/change column widths for personal views in the new View experience.  What am I missing?

Hi @MBates Currently setting/changing column widths on a grid page persists for that session and does not get saved into the view itself. We are working on enabling this flow so changes to column width puts an asterisk on the view name, so you can save the changes into the current view (or a new view).

There are some great changes to the modern advanced find (e.g. moving fields, adding fields, being able to search for a specific field), but there are a few things missing:

1. As mentioned above, the inability to change the column size and save it in a view.  This is making some views unusable, unless the user expands certain columns each time they access the view - not a good use of time.
2. Also mentioned above, when we go to Advanced Find, it goes to the filters for your default view, with no option to change views once you're there.  This is also not a good use of time for our users. 
3. Inability to configure sorting in a view - once we create a view, we often want to change how it is sorted.  We had two options in the old edit columns, still need that here.
4. When sharing a view, each user or team that you share with has to be coded separately and there's no way to toggle on all of the permissions.

I totally agree with all of these.  We would love to have the View Management options that Modern Advanced Find brings but the current limitations means that we have to stay with the old Advanced Find until these are resolved.

@smithdes thank you for the feedback. Some of the things you have mentioned are on our radar. We have on our immediate roadmap the ability to save column width changes to a view (< 3 months). We are also going to address the ability to specify the sort column (especially if it's not one of the display columns). I will message you to learn more about #2 and #4.
