Trouble using app on Android

Hello all,

I built an app for the company I work for, that is used to send inventories and orders from butcher shops to our factory.

For the order :

The items are listed in a sharepoint list, shown in a gallery on the app. They have to type the quantity they want on order (picture 1). the OnChange of the "Quantity" field is set on "Collect(commandecharcuterie; tableau.Selected)".

The quantity entered is collected along with the item name in a collection (picture2).

My problem :

On my computer or on my Iphone, whenever I enter data in the "Quantity" field, the row is added to the collection just fine, and I can juste leave the keyboard open and add another item. However, when I try to enter data in the "Quantity" field on an Android device, I have to click on the arrow on the keyboard before I can add another item, otherwise it will write over the previous one...

This may not seem very clear to everyone and I apologize in advance for any headache caused :-/.

Thank you for your help

François

Hi @Kirschleboucher ,

Do you mean that when you use computer, if you enter another item data, the OnChange property will act, while in mobile phone, it will not?

I've made a similar test but not met the same problem like your description.

The OnChange property act in the same way no matter in computer or mobile phone.

Here's my test:

I set a textinput's (inside a gallery) OnChange:

Collect(a,Gallery1.Selected)

set another gallery's Items: a

After I enter data in item1, if I click another item's textinput, the previous items data will be collected in the collection.

And this is exactly the same as in mobile phone:

I couldn't find any arrow in the keyboard and I do not click the arrow before I enter another item data.

Here's my mobile system:

ios13.3

I'm sorry that I do not have an android phone to do test for you.

You could check this to see whether your phone system meet requirements:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/limits-and-config

If the problem still exists, maybe it is a bug by using your mobile phone model or phone system.

In this situation, I suggest you open a ticket and tell them your  mobile phone model and phone system to help them make tests:

Hello,

Thanks for your quick feedback !

Here are some pictures of the problem, wich still happens only on Android devices...

The arrow I am talking about is the green round in the bottom.

I enter the first one : "Cervelas" -> "2"  -> That goes in the collection

Screenshot_20200214-062700.jpg

Without pressing the arrow, I enter the second one "Cervelas fromage fin" -> "3"

Screenshot_20200214-062714.jpg

The collection is partially erased and here is what the data looks like (first table on the top left)

Screenshot_20200214-062823.jpg

However, if I press the arrow after every data entry, the collection works just fine, as you can see...

If you need any other information or picture, just let me know...

Thank you very much

François

Hi @Kirschleboucher ,

Oh, I  see.

Since there's no problem about your formulas, I think that should be a bug about OnChange property in Android phone.

I suggest you post your issue here:

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/ticket/

Please show me your phone information in details.
