Trying to implement multiple Gallery filters using Buttons, ComboBox, Text Fields

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. I'm quite new to PowerApps and think I may be going in the wrong direction and I'm not sure how to backtrack!

I understand there are a lot of topics on the subject but after a week of trying different things, I'm not understanding how I can use them with my issue. 

I want to be able to filter my Gallery based on a number of conditions. Ideally, I want the user to be able to filter the gallery based on:

* ID Search - Typing the ID Number into a TextBox,

* By Assigned Team - Selecting a Button

* By Unassigned Contact - Selecting a Button

* Specific 'Assigned' contact - Selecting the User from a Dropdown

Users in different roles will be using this, some just to review anything outstanding and some to actually complete activities which is the reason a few different filters are required. 

I have got an expression for each one but I'm not sure how to put them all together. Previously, I have used variable function to filter based on a button - I'm not sure if I'm using the right method but wrong expression or the wrong method or I've just approached this in the wrong way completely.

Search Items by ID:

SortByColumns(Filter([@'Service Management'], StartsWith(ID, TextSearchBox1.Text)), "ID", If(SortDescending1, SortOrder.Descending, SortOrder.Ascending))

Assigned Areas:
If(
IsBlank(rfilter),
'Service Management',
Filter(

Unassigned Contact:

ufilter = "xxx",

By Assigned Contact:

The variables: nfilter, rfilter are set to blank on ScreenVisible.

The ufilter is set to "XXX" on ScreenVisible just to place text in there so when the button is selected it updates to blank and a refresh button also does the same. 

When a user goes onto the Browse Screen I want them  to be able to see an unfiltered Gallery with a complete list, then depending on what is selected/searched the Gallery then filters to that search. 

Please help, I feel like I'm going mad. The app is complete aside from this function but its a 'must' in order for go live!
