Update multiple rows in list by 'Title'

Good time of the day,

I have an app with two screens.

On the first screen, a first line is created in a list (Form: "FormStart"). Then the second screen is loaded.

There, data is entered into the same list but into different fields (Form: "FormUpdate").

The data from the first screen is thus transferred into the fields:

If(
IsBlank(FormUpdate.LastSubmit.Customer),
FormStart.LastSubmit.Customer,
FormUpdate.LastSubmit.Customer
)

Finally, I want to update all rows of the list based on the "Title" column. There, the Boolean column "Active" should be set to "false".

My 'ClearCollect' function doesn't seem to be fetching the data from the list.

How would to achieve this? Thank you very much!

You can use the function UpdateIf

UpdateIf(
    dataSource,
    Title = "",
    {Active: false}
)

But I can't manage to get any rows from the list. Can you precise this line?

This is the condition that you need to be met.

For ex:

if you want the Title to be equal to the variable 'x', so it will be:

Title = x

Assuming that you want to use the data from the variable FormUpdate.LastSubmit, it should be:

Title = FormUpdate.LastSubmit.Title

This seems to work but it looks like this error roots from a deeper issue.

we can try to solve like this:

Create a collection in your Onvisible of first screen like this:

ClearCollect(TempCollection, YourDataSource)

then use this instead of the other patch:

ForAll(
    TempCollection,
    Patch(
        YourDataSource,
        LookUp(YourDataSource, Title = ThisRecord.Title),
        {Active: false}
    )
)

But now I have a timing issue. The functions are running in the wrong order. 🤣 Really weird...

Yes, so the LookUp runs on no data. The collections "colAktivValue" isn't loaded yet and it tries to update the data aleady.
