Using LAUNCH to Open Link

I am trying to turn a link (https://####.sharepoint.com/) into a clickable link using the LAUNCH command in OnSelect property

I have tried:

Launch(ThisItem.'Project Charter')

Launch(DataCardValue17_3.Text)

Neither of these work yet when I put the same value in quaotaiton marks in an external label it works fine. Because the links are really long, I would ideally like to set them as a variable on the page OnVisible and then pass them the OnSelect of a button so I can just create a button for each link

Hi Peter,

Are you able to provide some more information/screenshots perhaps?

• What is your data source?
• If it's a Sharepoint list, what type is the Project Charter column set to?
• What is the layout? Is it a canvas app with a gallery/display form, or a Sharepoint Form?
• Are you getting any errors? Or what specifically is not working?

Data Source: Sharepoint List

Type: Canvas App with Form to display information - custom cards

Project Charter: Hyperlink or Picture column type

I'm not getting any errors, it just does nothing. Cursor does not change

I created a Label inside the data card, and assigned the text to from the Project Charter field to the "text" property. 

This will change the cursor but is not clickable.

I created a button and referenced the Label text but outside the Form - this works fine as long as the button is

Hi, 

I've tried these three options on my side and they all work for me

1. First one, DataCard Title Project Charter, is simply connected to a column set as Hyperlink in Sharepoint. I did not need to change anything to get this to work, I simply click the link and it opens it up.
2. Second one, DataCard Title ProjChart, is connected to a column set as Single Line of Text in Sharepoint. I set the OnSelect of the DataCardValue to Launch(DataCardValue5)
3. Third one, I created a custom card , connected to the Text Column ProjChart in Sharepoint and set the OnSelect value of the button to Launch(DataCardValue5_1)

I am not exactly sure which, if any, of these you are trying to achieve. But maybe it is to some help.

Could you please add one Label control to test whether your 

Launch(ThisItem.'Project Charter')

Launch(DataCardValue17_3.Text)

show the correct link you want to launch?
