Wrap Native PowerApp iOS issue login error 1001

Hi everyone,

After looking through the documentation of wrapping a PowerApp I encounter a login error on iOS (Error code 1001). I have succesfully completed all the steps and deployed the Native PowerApp through TestFlight (I also did it manually through iTunes for testing purposes but it gives me the same error).

Perhaps good to note. I also deployed the app on Android through the .apk and it works fine without any errors when logging in.

Anyone got this error before?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

finally got it to work, can't say definitiv what work ´, but I ended up using the the PowerShell function for signing, and also the Associated domains was not enable in the app registration.

do anyone have experience with deeplinking to a wrap app?

Have you solved this issue? It's interesting to note that it worked on Android, so perhaps this has something to do with profile capabilities. We are deploying AdHoc directly to the device. Our devices are also MDM'd with InTune.

Yes, it has to do with Microsoft Authenticator and Keychain Access. Apparently, when trying to log in into the Power App it uses the same keychain as what Authenticator is using. Use a device without Authenticator or remove Authenticator, but in reality this is not possible to say to clients of course.

On iOS I was not able to solve the issue, since even without Authenticator installed the app would open, but would not load data. I still have not figured out why, and I also deployed it AdHoc through TestFlight/iTunes.

Wow, that's a big problem, have you issued a ticket with Microsoft? All our devices are controlled via MDM, and also require Authenticator in order to access most resources.

This issue does not occur using our apps via Mobile PowerApps for iOS, so Microsoft should be able to fix this!

EDIT: I tried it on an iPhone without Authenticator installed, and it works! Of course any additional access won't work because there is no Authenticator, as you stated.

Hi,

We're facing exactly the same problem.

PowerApps community, is there already a ticket issued with Microsoft for this, if yes what is current status?

Is it about the fact that you cannot login or no data is showing in the app?

I have a ticket running with Microsoft, but with all respect to the engineers, no one really knows what they are talking about. All I am getting is to try the whole process again with other settings, but it costs me too much time at the moment.

It is about the fact we got error code 1001 when trying to login (MFA enabled) into PowerApps iOS Wrapped app when Authenticator app is installed and login works when Authenticator app is not installed on the device.

All seems to work ok with Android app.

BTW, we too have a ticket with Microsoft and they are trying to connect with an engineer that understands the MFA side of things on iOS. We confirmed that the app isn't reaching out to Azure at all, so must be happening in the code base as you . I am trying to create a simple test app that doesn't need MFA in the meantime.

When I have time, I might try to snoop the iOS device logs on my personal device (removing Authenticator from my work device caused me a day of headaches). Perhaps that would lead to more specific clues to provide them.
