I have a gallery,
1) I want to hide view when drop down has number but not hardcode it. as the numbers are not fixed.
If(dpDownQty.Selected.Value, true, false)
2) when user submit patch to close dropdown and patch button and show view
3) when the available total full , not to show all the view, patch buttons and dropdown box; and i have a Status box - text field - to display auto as CLOSED
4) based on the date and time of the event to auto open open the check button and box for user to click submit to collect the date and time when they click, and sure if the can also auto close after the date and time given a set date and if user did not click to check, it will show as not checked as status

It can be done.
You can set the visible property of the various controls using an if statement to check the various conditions when they should be visible or not visible. I would start by setting a variable on the OnVisible property of your screen. UpdateContext({ Submitted: false }). Set that variable to true after the patch statement in your Patch button.
Then your visible property on the View button should look something like this: For your available total full, you could do a CountRows of all the empty slots and use that in the visible formula

Do something similar for the other controls. For the Dropdown and Patch controls:

Where are you getting the available total from?
Yes #3.
The total is input from a SP list that the admin will input call total column
Can also ask how to return - unblock by user number as 1 and update to the admin list and records? Thanks
My earlier answer was not correct. I see you are using varToBook.TotalSlots. When all the slots are full, this should be 0, correct?

I have questions,
1) patch button - when I click only work on the first button and not the rest. is my syntax not right
2) and also if I want to have a button (Unbook) to return - how to allow user to cancel to unbook the slot they taken and update back to the admin list - total back +1 and slot taken - 1 and remove from the overall records? and the gallery sentence of the reminder should update too? Thanks.

You can go back to the one that works for your total slots. Have you tested the 'Submitted' variable by putting into a label to see what is happening with it?

We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.
