"JSON:Expected object but got Array" for multiplye Choice Column

Hi.I'm using a share point list as a data source. I have columns with Choice property. In Power Apps they use the following code to filter like this "Filter(Distinct(Filter('DataSource"';'Department'.Value = ComboBox1.Selected.Value);ThisRecord.Subdepartment);ThisRecord.Value.Value<>Blank())" and this one for example "DataSource"';Department'.Value = ComboBox1.Selected.Value;Subdepartment.Value =ComboBox2.Selected.Value.Value);ThisRecord.Line);ThisRecord.Value.Value<>Blank())". That is, each column is filtered by the previous one. But I had to enable the ability to select multiple elements in the Choice column, and after that my filtering broke and the following error appeared: "JSON:Expected object but got Array". Please help me in this situation, is it possible to work filtering with multiple choice in ball point

When enabling multiselect, a combobobox no longers returns a record, but table (array), so that is consistent with your observations. To deal with this, you need to make adjustments following the below pattern in the filter conditions:

Single select:
Department'.Value = ComboBox1.Selected.Value;

Multi select:
Department'.Value in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Value;

Can you please share the error text that comes with this?

Also it seems that the formula you shared is part of a bigger formula since you are using "ThisRecord" which makes it look as if you are using a ForAll loop. If this is the entire formula, what is ThisRecord supposed to reference?

The logic is that by selecting "Department", the next field "Subdepartment" will display only subdepartments related to the selected department. After the ability to select multiple values was enabled, a yellow error appeared about delegation and a red one in the Update field property. "ThisRecord" I registered with a distinct function to remove empty values. Now I don't know how to set up the filtering I need with the multiple selection property

Apologies, but I'm not following what you are saying. Please share:

1. How is your data structured? I see .Value.Value in there which makes me think you have nested tables, so please elaborate. Some example data in a table would also help to understand the structure.

Please share the details for the error you receive.

3. I don't understand what you mean by "registered with a distinct function". Is ThisRecord the name of a variable or something?
