search by text and dropdown

Ive read several posts but cannot find one with my exact situation. How would I combine these two formulas to search/filter a single gallery?

I need to be able to search my gallery by title then filter those results by Type of request and every option inbetween (ie Just filter by Type of request or just search by Title).

Search('Engineering Change Requests_1', Searchbox.Text, "Title");
Filter('Engineering Change Requests_1', Typeofrequest.Value=searchdrop_1.Selected.Result)

My data comes from a Microsoft List by the way

You can nest the Filter in the Search:

Search(
    Filter('Engineering Change Requests_1', Typeofrequest.Value=searchdrop_1.Selected.Result),
    Searchbox.Text, 
    "Title"
);

It is sort of working. It seems to work the first time i select the dropdown but then if i change it to the second option, it does not refresh. Also - is there a way to "clear" the searchdrop so i can see ALL results in the gallery again?

Please try the below. It has and extra condition in the Filter that will return true if nothing is selected in the seachdrop, negating the other condition and hence showing all items:

Search(
    Filter('Engineering Change Requests_1', IsBlank(searchdrop_1.Selected.Result) || Typeofrequest.Value=searchdrop_1.Selected.Result),
    Searchbox.Text, 
    "Title"
);

issue 1: the dropdown selection is no longer filtering results (No errors however)

issue 2: there is no "blank" option for me to select since every entry has a "change type". I basically want the ability to clear the searchdrop so all records show in the gallery again

edit: drop down is working - i selected wrong dropbox.

still not able to "clear" dropbox to see all again however

I got the clearing issue resolved by adding cancel buttons!  Last goal is to add more filters/conditions to the formula. Identical to Type of Change filter just searching different fields:

current formula:

Search(Filter('Engineering Change Requests_1',IsBlank(TOCdrop.Selected.Result)||Typeofrequest.Value=TOCdrop.Selected.Result),Searchbox.Text,"Title")

New purpose: not only filter by TOCdrop (ie type of change), but also filter by Status and Submitted by.

These additional fields can be added to the filter as extra conditions, for example:

		'Engineering Change Requests_1',
		IsBlank(TOCdrop.Selected.Result)||Typeofrequest.Value=TOCdrop.Selected.Result,
		IsBlank(Statusdrop.Selected.Result)||Status.Value=Statusdrop.Selected.Result,
		IsBlank(SBdrop.Selected.Email)||'Submitted by'.Email=SBdrop.Selected.Email		
	),
	Searchbox.Text,
	"Title"
)
