sending attachment to flow as a parameter

Hi guys,

I have a galley with a list of templates (Word-documents), when a user selects a document, this document should be used as a template in power automate flow.

How can i send this attachment to flow as a parameter?

your flow trigger must be power apps v2 or power apps

add your flow to powerapps 

insert a button -> gallery 

on select property -> flow name . run( give the attachment file here ) and pass this param to the powerautomate 

but here you need to convert that param into data uri and 

your flow name .Run(  Substitute(JSON(your attachment ,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData),"""",""))

in flow 

compose -> dataUriToBinary(triggerBody()['yourparam'])

you can use this output

Instead of 'Your attachment' red colored, what shoud i put there, is it the id of the attachment or the name of it?

Because the attachement itself is stored in sharepoint not in powerapps. i just have the properties of the file through the gallery i am showing

if you are storing those files in SP and viewing those files in gallery so you just pass that file as name or id of the file and test it or else

if your attaching it from power apps then

you need to place your attachment file there like 

(attachmentcontrol.Attachments)

as shows 

or else you can collect those attachments into variable and you can pass that variable 

in the place (red colored)
