sending email with condition

Hi,

I am in need of help to incorporate some changes in my apps developed by powerapps.

## @ links to members, content:

I want to send email to some specific person when selected a value from dropdown list and send email to another person when selected another value from dropdown list.

## I want to send this email by clicking submit button with the user input field

Can anyone help me out ?I will be grateful........

You have to refer to the Control (drop-down) not the field

      Dept=areadrop_1.Selected.Value
   )
)

The email will not change - you are just sending a smaller batch of emails in colEmails.

Two errors I can see here - the first one is the field - AreaApp is the field name in the table StaffEmails that needs to be filtered.

   colEmails,
   Filter(
      StaffEmails,
      AreaApp=areadrop_1.Selected.Value
   )
)

The second is the output of a control - in this case areadrop_1.Selected.Value. It should be Value based on what I see as a Choices column - If you still get the error, type in areadrop_1.Selected. (note the second dot) and you will see all the valid values underneath. The three possibilities will be Value, Result and AreaApp, depending what is in the Items property of areadrop_1.
I am happy to keep helping, but there are some basic things that I need to rely on you to know such as referring to the correct field in a Lookup and understanding errors and possible correct values. PowerApps is not that difficult, but it is different from a lot of other programming languages and takes a little time to learn.
One option is to go to YouTube and Search PowerApps Shane Young and PowerApps Dave's Tech Tips. Both @Shanescows and @DavesTechTips also contribute to this forum. Also keep this page on the Functions Reference for PowerApps in your favorites - it explains the way most things work. Please also have a read of the Filter function - it will be useful to you.

Hi,
I have a requirement of creating a table using html and want to convert to pdf and to be sent with mail attachment. Can anybody help. I tried with flow, where i could able to create file in onedrive but unable to attach mail. Is it possible directly from powerapp?
