Hi there
I am in the module of updating "Bookreference" with Book name and the "Get_row_id" with the 'Get book details". I have tried testing the image below and I keep getting error message as seen below. Please bear in mind that the pu_studentfullname option could not be found and the option to select the dynamic content is slightly different from that of Rory's interface. Hence, studentfullname was used and it worked for other preceeding flows and test. However, I am having issue finalizing this.
@BCBuizer , I will appreciate your response to this. Thank you for the continued support.
Hi @TianaFash ,
What I think happened is that you inserted dynamic content in the email body and changed the name of the action you referenced after that. What then happens is Power Automate keeps looking for an action called "Get a row by ID", but that no longer exists hence the error.
In this case the easiest way to fix it is to remove the dynamic content (I suspect the BookName) from the email body and then add it back through selecting it from the dynamic content pane (don't copy-paste). This will update the reference to look for the right action.
Kindly check and ensure that ‘Send an email (V2)’ action correctly references outputs from ‘Get_a_row_by_ID’.
Secondly, Update any incorrect references in the email action’s input parameters.
The following screenshot worked for me;
