Hi, Here's
Hi,
I tried updating the dashboards Return to the Workplace – Location Readiness,
Return to the Workplace - Location Management and Return to the Workplace - Workplace Care Management and the solution.
I was not able to install over the existing version. SO,I installed to the new workspace. When I connected to data, I get errors.
I have attached the screenshot of the error. May I know the solution to connect to data after updating apps and solution.
Hi @AbrahamSaldana,
It isn't published in the MS docs. Could you provide the accessibility standards verified for the RTW app?
Thank you!
Really is NOT clear on licensing. In the docs it does say Power Apps licence is required.
That's fine. We have Power Apps in our M365 E5 licence BUT apparently that is no sufficient?
Paul
Hi Paul,
I agree the licensing could be more clear. Under the Licensing requirements, the "See also" has a link to Licensing overview for Microsoft Power Platform. Under that topic, if you go down to the FAQ section, I think the first 3 questions help.
It looks like the M365 E5 SKU had a recent change in its app license for CDS, which is what the RTW model-driven app is built on.
I am looking the details about complete licensing requirements to use Return to the workplace app.
you will need two licenses to host the Return to Work solution. One for Power Apps and one for Power BI.
For Power Apps, you will need either the "Per User" plan or the "Per App" plan. Choose the one that is best for your organization. Contact your Microsoft account manager if you want to find the right plan for you. More details can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/community/powerplatformlicensingforcitizendeveloper
For Power BI, you will need at least 1 or more Power BI Pro licenses for the IT team to install, modify, and/or extend the reports. Report viewers do not need licenses.
All of these licenses can be used to create other apps or reports for your organization also.
Thanks this is helpful .. except it SEEMS like every user (staff) just using the RTW app (just to get a day pass for the office) also needs a Power Apps licence .. is this so? Seems a little extreme. All of a sudden that means I need to spend $5k plus per month to support just this app. Just doesn’t seem right.
Am I missing something?
Paul
We wanted to let you know that today we shipped another update to the Return to the Workplace (RTW) solution (V1.2)! This is our 3rd release since we first launched the solution on July 21.
Since there is no proven playbook to respond to a 100 year pandemic, we continue to use the advantages of low code development tools (Power Platform) combined with an extremely agile development process to adapt rapidly to emerging market requirements.
Here’s a list some of the new features we have shipped that customers are asking for …
