D365 Business Central Timesheet approvals

Hi all,

I'm setting up D365 Business Central (primarily finance and Jobs modules) and would like to have a Pages site where customers can approve submitted timesheets for Jobs. Admittedly, I really haven't explored Pages very much (AND I'm new to BC!) so I need to understand what the difficulty level of this would be, what specific knowledge is required, and how this could be most readily accomplished. Hoping someone may have walked this road already and can help with my queries.

Currently, BC tables are not supported as Virtual Tables within Power Pages

I'm aware that currently there isn't the 1st party support from MS. However, that support is supposed to be available quite shortly, as shown in that article in fact.

That said, I found what I'm hoping will be a valuable plugin from the folks at Websan to integrate D365 CRM invoicing to BC invoicing at a really good price point. Assuming it works as advertised, that would mean I could keep using project ops lite (previously PSA) in CRM and generate the sales invoice only in BC for the native integration into the BC financial module.

So that would mean I could continue using the CRM timesheets instead of BC Job timesheets (current state). In that case, I would need to expose the CRM (Dataverse) timesheets in a power pages site. If you (or anyone else) have any links, documents, vids, or recommendations on learning resources specific to exposing a list like "timesheets for approval" and (critically) the "approve" and "reject" buttons in power pages would be VERY appreciated!

The simple way to build your approve and reject button is to configure your list configuration. Offical URL
