Action 'Get_user_profile_(V2)_2' failed

Hello,

Can anybody help me? I am getting a get user profile failed. For context, I am trying to get the recipients display name and add it in an excel file. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@unknowwwnn Looks like you are trying to pass multiple email addresses. You can only pass a single email address. If you want to use the Get user profile (V2) action on multiple email addresses you need to convert the string of email addresses into an array of email addresses and loop through them. 

Add a Compose action and use an expression. Insert the split() function. This function takes two parameters:

split([string],[separator])

Click on the dynamic content tab and insert the To dynamic content. 

Add a comma and a semi-colon between single quotes. Run a test. 

The split() function will output an array of email addresses.

Add an Apply to Each action to loop through your array.

Hi creative opinion!

Thank you for this. I was actually thinking of using split function, however I am familiar how this works since I am still new in power automate.

Anyway, I followed your steps but I changed the expression a little bit.

I use 

split(outputs('when_a_new_email_arrives_(V3)')?['body/toRecipients'],';')

to match my chosen trigger. Unfortunately, I am prompted by this error.

 Any insights?

@unknowwwnn Can you explain the purpose of this Get user profile (V2) action? 

If you want to return the user profile of each of the recipients of the email, this action has to be inside the Apply to Each action.

Can you ensure that you are inserting the correct dynamic content inside the split action? It doesn't look correct from your previous post. After you insert the expression, you need to select the dynamic content from the flow trigger. 

In my original screenshot, I was using a Get Email action. I should have clarified that. You need to ensure you are inserting the correct dynamic content in your expression.
