Calculated Column flow error

I have created a calculated column which is a number column to get the remaining days of an item, while creating a flow and testing it, it shows this error message:

" InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '1' and column '2783': 'The template language function 'lessOrEquals' expects two parameter of matching types. The function was invoked with values of type 'String' and 'Integer' that do not match.'."

I will post the screenshots of my calculated column and my flow too.

I even tried the condition with Remaining Days equals to 1 and the flow worked fine but even though I have an item which is equal to 1 but it shows me in the flow test as 'false'

If anyone can help me with this problem I would be thankful!MsFlowRemainingDays.png

Hi @Kareem_Shamel ,

First, if the type of the Status column is choice, then you need to use the Status value as the parameter in the Condition instead of Status.

Also for the Remaining Days field, you can use Compose to store it first, then use the float() function to convert it.

Hello @Kareem_Shamel ,

Please try and use a Data Operation Action called Compose. Use this "Compose action" in the apply to each loop but before the if condition.For the input add the "Sharepoint Remaining Days" content..

Than run flow and see what the input and output is for the Compose action. Let me know what it is (Picture). Looks like the Value is still in String format. But we can troubleshoot easier with Compose action

Thanks.

Here you go.

ComposeRemainingDaysValues.png

@Kareem_Shamel

Please try either adding a variable to store the value and make it an integer. Than use the Expression "int(value)" to convert the string into a number. you also might be able to do this in the condition itself.

Just use the "int(value)" expression in the condition and where value is use the dynamic content of your sharepoint days remaining.

As my picture shows i was able to take a text value of 1.0000000 and convert it to integer which when i run the low changes to 1 and runs successfully

Thanks

I am sorry but am still new to this and am trying to coop with it. I don't actually see any dynamic content when choosing the value as shown below.InitializeVAR.png

Spoiler
@Kareem_Shamel

Yes that is because it is looking for a Integer. An at this moment that value from sharepoint is still a String.
So you are very close.
1) Click Expression (These are expressions to manipulate data and do other cool things)
pic5.png
2) We will use a expression to convert the String to a Integer(number) in the expression text box type:
int(

3) Now this is where we switch back to the dynamic content tab to input the value we want to convert to a Number, in our case we want to convert RemainingDays

Here are some pics to better understand.

Dont forget to close your ). Than hit OKDont forget to close your ). Than hit OK

Try that. Let me know.

I did exactly as you said but it only showed these 2 fields to choose from. Expression.png

Leave the initialize variable blank for value
Than use a set variable inside the loop and do those steps in there

I am still not getting it 🙄SetVariable.png

Hmm that is strange.

Try adding the expression directly into the condition. Let me know if that works.
