Hey All, is it possible to create an HTML table after my condition is met? I get the error message "An Action failed, No dependant actions succeeded"
I think I may be missing a step or something here, please see my flow and error below :
Solved! Go to Solution.
You still have an Apply to each loop. Below (as per my previous example) only has the following actions:
For your Filter array, you'll need to click on Edit in advanced mode and paste in the expression I provided.
What do you want in the HTML table? Everything returned by Get items?
@KeeganClarke - Your Condition resulted to "False" it entered the "No" Branch.
If you Copy the actions from the "Is Yes" Branch to "Is No" and then run the Flow do you get correct results.

The screenshot you have is showing the first item in the Apply to each. For the first record the condition was false, so the Create HTML table action didn't run. It looks like the condition was true at some stage and this is when the Create HTML table action failed.
Can you expand out your Create HTML table action in design view to see what you have added in there?
Hi Scott, only need a couple of fields from get items, "ID" and "Title".
Hi fernandes, thats a great idea never thought of that but theres no need as even though my condition shows false it still processes as if its true, confirmed this by removing create HTML table and going ahead with send email 2.

Hi Grant, even though the conditon shows false, it still processes as if it is true, this is confirmed when i run the condition then go straight to send email v2. Please see screenshot as requested. When creating HTML Table and i select data source, if i use the data source get items before the condition it pulls all the data from the list to my table which i dont want, only want the items based off the conditions.

The issue is that your Create HTML table expects and array, but you're just passing in a single object (item).
You don't actually need an Apply to each here as you should be filtering the items returned either within Get items using the Filter Query, or directly after that using Filter array, and then adding the output to the Create HTML table and sending the email.
I can mock up a quick example if you like.
Here's a quick mock-up of what you need. Looking at your filters you should be able to do the first condition within Get items and the second filter within Filter array since it's using expressions.
Then the output of Filter array (which now only contains the filtered items) would go into your Create HTML table.
Thanks for the help Grant, however for some reason it will not accept my "Containment" value.
Ah, it's of type note which is a multiline text field so can't be used within the Get items Filter Query.
So, you'll need to also add this to your Filter array criteria as well as the date criteria.
Can you show both of your criteria as you have typed them out?
In your Filter array can click on Edit in advanced mode and paste the following and see if it works as expected.
@And(equals(item()?['Containment'], null), greater(utcNow(), addDays(item()?['Created'], 1)))
Sorry - just updated it again - can you try the following - it should work for you.
@And(equals(item()?['Containment'], null), greater(utcNow(), addDays(item()?['Created'], 1)))
Hi Grant, thanks for trying to help out, just input this and once again:
Have you set it up with the just actions I had in my example, or do you still have an Apply to each loop?
I just noticed that you have your Filter array within a Yes branch of a condition - this is different to my example.
The expression works fine for my flow.
