Create approval flow with 2 SharePoint lists

Hi Community,

I want to create an expense report approval flow but need help to advise if the following can be done.

Background

I have 2 SharePoint Lists - Header, Details. Header contains all the expense report summary details, such as name, report date and total claim amount. Details contains all the individual expense items under a report header. These 2 SharePoint lists have a common field HeaderID, hence all individual expense items in Details would have the same HeaderID as the report header they fall under.

The fields in both SharePoint lists are populated through Powerapps, i.e. requestor would fill up the Powerapps form and send the detalis to SharePoint.

What I want to achieve

I want to create a flow such the the approval request email will go to the supervisor of the requestor, and the supervisor would be able to view information, including attachments of that report from both Header and Details.

Currently the source list in my test flow points to the Header list. When I click on the Item Link of the approval email, I see all the information entered under that particular Header item. I want the supervisor to be able to see the individual expense details as well. I am not sure how this can be done. Ideally there can be a link on the email, or even on the Header Item Link to point to Details, to view all the individual expenses either on one page or each item with the ability to scroll to the next.

Hey,

Either get something great like Plumsail Forms where the link to the item can show exactly what you need.

or

generate a block of HTML displaying what you need, and then use something like Encodian PDF to convert to PDF and then attach to the approval object.
