Create event Recurrence every "2 weeks" does not work on "Update Event V4"

I write this because the "Update Event V4" is a horrible design.
infact it suggest the passing in of values is horrible across the board.

when updating an event you must pass in all fields of the original event. if not they are blanked out.

Flow is
1. Event Created --> 2. Update Event using all variables from original event, but change the 1 value you wish to change.

In my scenario I wish to update all reminders to 1 hour before.

To do this I must use "Update Event V4", and pass in all values from the original event. WHI IS NOT IDEAL.

This means I am passing in the recurrence field. which you would think is 1 for 1.
however the interval field is missing
and hence it sets the interval to 1
meaning bi weekly/monthly events are then rescheduled in my calendar to weekly.

there is no "Interval" option in the "Update Event V4"


The ideal situation would be if you did not pass in the variable it did not delete it this way the interval field would remain.
also this would be great because the only field I want to change it the reminder.

So 2 issues:
1. must add all fields to the "Update Event V4"
2. interval field does not exist. in Update Event V4

@Architecta  please Share your flow screens. In Update event V4 only 6 fields are mandatory and you can choose recurrence for your event. it will occur based on your Start and End date time.

I think you missed the point.

These event create and event update flow option V2/V3/V4 are broken when it comes to multi interval recurrences.

as per my post:
"there is no "Interval" option in the "Update Event V4""

you can test this yourself. set yourself up with a flow of "New events create event in another calendar"
and when the "New event" has a recurrence of every 2 weeks."
the created event in th other calendar will get the event every week.

This  (I believe) is because there is no interval field.
Hence it is broken.

If I send the recurrence value in an email to myself, all I receive is "weekly"
not "2 weekly"

this would suggest the interval is missing and is not included as part of recurrence.

so this would then suggest that this solution (Create/Update Event VX) is incomplete.

But additional to this missing field.

Why should a user have to provide and map every single field when doing an event update.
if you provide no value then the existing value should not change.

I am utilising both Create Event and Update event.
update even t is no good because it breaks all incoming events. Hence this post is about Update Event more the Create event, even though create event is also broken.
