Error Handling - Need help with approval flow error

I have a Power Automate flow that initiates a level 1 approval when the 'Send email' column in my Excel table is set to 'Yes'. If the level 1 approval times out, an email is sent to approvers, and then a level 2 approval process starts for senior managers. The flow works correctly when level 1 is actioned before timing out. However, when level 1 times out and level 2 approval starts, I encounter a 'run failed' error at the 'Apply to each' and condition levels on one item. 

Please note flow runs as intended and complete update rows action successfully and write back in the excel file. Only after the time out gives Action Failed error though still writes back in my excel file.

How can I troubleshoot and resolve this issue?

After condition - at which action error is thrown - at send email prior to level 2 approval ?

@Nived_Nambiar  thanks for your message, i have this is the revised version, level-1 timed out fine and level 2 started, senior manager was able to approve and add comment that updated my excel file. but it showed test failed.

Hi @misbahhassan 

why flow result is coming as failed- based on my experimenting with this- what i have understood is when flow passes through timeout branch- it will considered as failed even timeout branch actions were successfull.

So to make successfull- I think we have to combine both branches like below

Where we need to set configure run after for combined compose action so that it runs on combined set of scenarios

@abm  any points which i have missed on this ?

@Nived_Nambiar  thanks, how do i combine two composes as you did in your screenshot, and what should be the input for the flow to work. i want leve-1 to go through first and if first manager approves it should write back in my excel file (which it has been doing all along). i want the same thing happen on the escalation side. thanks for your time.

Hi @misbahhassan 

for adding final compose action at the end of two parallel branch- follow the below steps:

1.  click on new step button at the end of parallel branch as shown below.

2. select the compose action and add some random text inside it 

Now set the configure run after for the last added action so that if any of its last action under its parallel branchs if executed successfully or skipped- this compose action should run. Something like below

@Nived_Nambiar  Hey thanks for trying, i think i need to dive deeper and figure out as my start and wait for approval is in apply to each and not able to connect the compose as you have done in your screenshot.
