Hi All,
I am very new to power automate and trying to convert or export csv to pdf.
Tried exploring multiple blogs but could not achieve it.
Can some one please help me with the steps to achieve this.
Thanks in advance
Hi @praveen1,
Basically, you want to convert a CSV data file to a PDF file with that data formatted. I would suggest including an HTML intermediate in it.
You format your CSV data into an HTML file using the "Create HTML Table" action, then convert that file to PDF.

Hi @SamLed ,
Thanks for the reply I have seen the post. The title is mentioned as csv to html but they are using Json format and then converting it into HTML.
My scenario is I am actually using power automate in power bi which will generate a pdf with all data rather than a screen shot of the page which is not possible.
Hence I created a flow which will create a csv file with all the data and save it one drive and then trying to convert the generated csv file into pdf.
Hi,
If you are creating a CSV file, have you considered creating directly in HTML rather than CSV, because HTML can be converted to PDF while CSV cannot.

@praveen1
You can do this using Encodian's Convert Excel action
----
*Encodian Flowr is a Standard Power Automate connector with 100+ actions to supercharge flow builds. Conversion, merging, splitting, OCRing, data extraction, QR/Bar codes, searching and much more. And we just added "Utility" actions, which are almost free to use and accelerate solution builds and remove maintenance overheads with actions like Extract text between values, extract URLs, extract email addresses, Password/GUID/HMAC creation, escaping/unescaping HTML, parsing HTML tables, etc.
I tried this but its asking me for connection string and api details which I am not aware of could you please guide me
Hi,
Of course, Encodian is a paid solution, so you have to subscribe at Encodian, the free version allows you to perform 50 actions max per month: Encodian Flowr for Microsoft Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps
Once done, you'll get required API key.

Hi,
If you want to do it yourself, you'll have to convert your CSV to JSON, JSON to HTML and HTML to PDF, here's how to perform these steps:
Get header names expression: split(first(split(outputs('Get_file_content_using_path')?['body'],decodeUriComponent('%0D%0A'))),',')
Apply to each from expression: skip(split(outputs('Get_file_content_using_path')?['body'],decodeUriComponent('%0D%0A')),1)
Inside Apply to each, add a Do until:
Next to Do until, compose JSON object and next to Apply to each, compose JSON array:

Here I'm using Create HTML table action:
Then save outputs to file:
