Flow Forms Quiz to Excel - how to enter Total Points

I have created a very simple flow where I add a row on an excel table every time a response is submitted through a form.

I have been able to add the dynamic content for every answer, but there should also be a score calculation based on the answer that was given.

When I generate the excel document directly from forms those columns are filled with the points, and there is a column with the total points. But when a row is added through my flow the total points column remains empty (as well as the single columns with the score for each question). Is there a formula I can add to add that result to the spreadsheet?

I have been looking everywhere and the only answers I have found where not directly related to this type of flow.

You need to make the total points calculation inside the flow and write the value on the new row of the excel file like the other columns values. 

As all properties inside the JSON received from Forms (as outputs of Forms - Get response details action) are string values, you first need to convert the number values stored as string (it is applied also to the values of ratings controls from Forms) to number using int() function and then to add this integer values. 

Here is an example with a form with 2 ratings controls, to get the picture:

 The formula should look like:

Thank you, I have tried adding a step (Initialize variable) for each question with points, and I have created a final one where I add the total points as you have suggested.

But when I submit a response unfortunately I still cannot see the point in the spreadsheet:

I have added the "Initialize Variable" steps after "Get response details". Do I need to add the steps before that? Also, should they be parallel steps instead?

Can you show me the result of the initialize variables actions after you run the flow ? Are correctly calculated ?

Each question (6 in total) that should have a point assigned has been put through "Initialize variable" with the following expression: 

int(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r815821a26c6a4ff4b7b3ed15460b7151'])

Then I have added another action "initialize variable" to add them into the total points (I have used directly the variables I had previously created): 

add(variables('aninvoice'),variables('thepresence'),variables('textentered'),variables('whichscreen'),variables('whatisthecorrect'),variables('whendeciding'))

I don't get what I'm missing 🤔

I did a test on my side and everything works fine. Can you try to remove all data from the excel table, except the table header ?

I have tried creating the flow from scratch, adding all the "Initialize variable" (questions) in parallel, and the "Initialize variable" (total points) after that, and then "Add a row in a table", but the flow keeps stopping at the first Initialize variable with the following error message:

You mispelled "int" with "in" ? But I don't think that's the problem ...

Oh yes I mispelled it in one of the actions, but even when it has been fixed I get this error message.

This should have been a fairly simple thing to do, but it's driving me crazy. I am probably missing some very simple detail

There is something wrong with the parameter you used in Int() function in Initialize_variable_Whendeciding. Rewrite the formula there. 

Still don't think that is the problem. Maybe try to rebuild your Excel file and table.
