How to tell "if" condition to move on after "yes" response

Hello,

I need some help with a flow I am working on. What I am doing is I am capturing responses from a form and then creating a sharepoint list and Sales Force entries with the information from the form. In order to avoid duplicate accounts for companies though I have flows set up to check against the sales force "Accounts" information. What I need to do is configure the flow to move on and stop checking the rest of the records after getting a yes response.

So here it is scanning through all 400+ records from our sales force account to find a match for the company name from the form response. Once it gets a "yes" that there is a match then I want it to stop checking the rest of the records and move on to the next step in the flow. If it scans all of the records and gets a no from each of them then it should follow the no path.

Please help

@Pstork1 so I got it to run and create the records but it is not stopping after finding the record.

The condition checking whether Stop has been set to True or not has to be inside the loop.  Otherwise setting it to true won't do anything.  The loop can't and won't stop.  But if you put the condition check for Stop at the top of the loop you can have the Loop stop doing any actions inside the loop when you tell it to.  Compare your screenshot to the one I posted.  You'll see that mine has two layers of compares inside the loop. There's only one compare inside your inner loop.

@Pstork1 Microsoft flows added that "Apply to each 2" when I have it check against the sales force records.

Yes, but after it did that you can still manually add another condition at the top of the loop above the condition to test the account.  Then you can drag and drop your existing condition inside the yes branch of the new condition.

@Pstork1 Im not understanding what you are saying. The condition is at the beginning of the yes/no flow just like yours. Can you please show me what you mean?

I sent you a screen shot of what it should look like in message 10 of this thread.  Take a look back at that.  I can't make anything out from your screenshot.  The resolution is too low.

@Pstork1 here is a close up of it

The check needs to be inside the Apply to Each 2 loop.  Otherwise that loop will process all of the responses whether the account is found or not.

@Pstork1 which check?

@Pstork1 are you talking about like this?

I don't know how to explain it any better.  The stop loop check has to be inside the inner loop.  That's the only way to keep it from processing the rest of the loop when the condition changes.  I've tried to help, but don't know any better way to explain it.

@Pstork1 Thats what I am saying though is that it is in the inner loop from what I can tell. No matter how I have tried it it still fails to stop

No its not in the inner loop.  The inner loop is in the yes side of the condition.  it needs to be inside the loop and everything inside the loop currently needs to be inside the yes branch of the condition.  See this markup of your image.screenshot.png

@Pstork1 that is different than the original image you sent over though. It is already in the "Apply to each" bubble and is what kicks off the initial yes/no work flow

I'm not going to argue.  Its not structurally different than the picture I originally sent.  This is a markup of your structure.  The If then for the condition has to be inside the innermost loop.  Yours isn't and that's why it doesn't work.  I've explianed that several times and am not going to do it again.  I'm done with this thread.
