I need to create an automation between two excel spreadsheets

I'm using a spreadsheet that is updated daily by a bot. This bot provides specific financial information for each day. For example, if today is 10/05, the bot returns all financial data corresponding to this date. The next day, it will only bring data from 11/05, and so on.

My need is to create an automation that, daily, searches this spreadsheet and fills in another Excel spreadsheet with all the update dates of the first one. This way, I will have a cumulative record of all financial information, rather than just the current day's data.

I even tested some triggers, they all give errors

• I tried to use a Sharepoint trigger as a trigger (When a file is created or modified (properties only)
• I added it from Excel (List lines present in a table)
• I added it from Excel (Add a row to a table)

When I click save to test it brings an error at the top

You need to provide a screenshot of the flow + details of the error message otherwise its impossible to help you fix something we cannot see.

The basic principles are getting data from the first excel:

1. If your data is in a data content type, you can use the Excel connector and "List rows" action. Note, since it is a newly created file, you first need to use Excel's "Get tables" action to get the name of the table to dynamically pass this to the "list rows" action
   
   
2. If your data is not in a table structure, you can use Encodian's Get Rows from Excel action

Then writing the data to your existing table:

1. Again, if you have a table content type, you can use the native Excel connector to "Add rows". How much data are you adding? This connector adds one row at a time (you need to use apply to each) therefore you may run into limitations if you are dealing with very large data sets
   
   
2. If you do not have tables or very large data sets, you can use Encodian's Add Rows to Excel action

Note, you can also use Graph APIs for bulk processing and Office Scripts if you want to get your hands dirty on more technical solutions.

Note, if your data in the input and output excel's are in the same column order, you can also achieve all of this in a single step using Encodian's Merge Excel Rows action.

I changed the flow logic a little, I still need the balance history but I'm using the following conditions

Whenever there is an update to the table, copy the file and paste it into the indicated folder

This worked for him, but I wanted him to bring the file name + the date the file was copied

Name - YYYY_MM_DD

but it doesn't execute, I tried a few ways and it copies the file and renames it as 1, 2, 3 onwards

You are simply copying the file which auto creates the copy with a new name (if there is a file with the same name already present).

If you want more control, use "get file content" action and then "create file" to create the copy. You can then use expressions to determine the file name in the create file action (you dont need to do this in the compose). Dont forget the file extension.

I created the automation using the logic you gave me, but I found an error and couldn't solve it

I don't know what it could be, it doesn't give a reason for the error, it just shows that it didn't work
