Import an exported flow

Hello,

I am attempting to import an exported flow from one 'environment' to another (I do all my testing in a separate SharePoint site). Historically, I have just started over and recreated the Flow/PowerApp entirely in our Production environment once it's passed testing, but the more we use Flows/PowerApps, there's got to be a more efficient way. I know how to export the Flows and Forms into .zip files, but how can I simply IMPORT these flow steps/custom forms into another SharePoint site's Library? Awhile back, I began going through way overly complicated steps to do this. I just want to be pointed in the direction of the best article(s).

I would check out this article from Microsoft that explains both how to export and import a flow, along with the known limitations.

Thank you for the prompt response. These directions are perfect and look easy enough, thank you. I think the most difficulties I had before was attempting to export/import a custom form built via PowerApps... Do you have any suggested articles for that?

Hi @Morghan,

So I found one article that explains how to do a workaround to import a PowerApps package as a SharePoint list form.  It explains how to import a list form made in Powerapps and seems pretty straightforward to me.  I haven't had a chance to test it yet though.

There is also a proposed idea to create a way to move or copy custom forms from one site to another if you would like to vote for that here.

I'll also link to Microsoft's articles about exporting and importing your apps across environments with packaging.  I didn't see anything about custom forms, but it could be helpful for exporting apps or Flows.
