Is there a way to get a monthly reminder in Flow?

I'd like to get a monthly reminder in Flow. The "Recurrence" trigger only has Day and shorter intervals. I don't want to pick Day and then something like 30 because each month has a different number of days and it will eventually drift too far out of when I want it (around the 21st) to be useful.

Is there a way to create a flow that will send me a monthly email reminder on the same day every month?

Try this.

I tested this and worked for me. So for your requirement to check a particular day try conditional filter as @equals(utcnow('dd'), '21').

Thanks. I think that will work. I set to test dd to equal 08. If I get an email tomorrow, I'll change it to 21 and let it rip.

Sigh... this isn't working. I used this:

@equals(utcnow('dd'),'08')

just to see if I could get it to fire off today, but no joy.

I've modified it to 

@equals(utcnow('dd'),8)

but so far nothing.

I cannot figure out how to test the functions to see what the above are actually returning as results.

Hopefully MS rolls out a way to test the output in functions like those above (which still isn't working when I changed it to a numeric vs a string) via an IMMEDIATE type window, or if there is one, make it more obvious because I cannot find it.

Meanwhile, I set this up in IFTTT in about 2 minutes.

INteresting. It wouldn't for me. I never got the test emails, and the FLOW log didn't show anything in the success/failure/check log. My other Flows are working just fine.

Hi @EdHans,

Change your recurrence to one minute and see if that works or not. For day settings I am not sure what time it will kick in? I haven't tested that yet.

I got it to work.

Please ensure you put the dash around the number.

Example:

@equals(utcNow('dd'), '01')

This discussion is common scenario.

Recurrence per month, per week, per 1st of month.

Currently, I need to do a lot, and use the Expression/Condition.

When 'Schedule - Recurrence' trigger have per week, per month, I need to do quick, without Expression/Condition.
