Licensing question - Can child flows of a licensed parent flow (Process license) be run manually when needed and still run under the parent flow's license?

Hello Power Automate community. Let me start by apologizing for asking a question about what's probably our least favorite subject. 😉

Context: Power Automate licensing changed in August 2023 and the "per flow" license is now called a "Process" license. This license allows any user in the organization to use / benefit from a flow with premium features (like RPA) without needing to have a user-specific Power Automate Premium license. Process licenses cover child flows, including desktop flows, called by the parent flow which has the Process license applied to it. Essentially the license is meant to cover one entire process (which can include multiple subprocesses / child flows).

Question: What about when a specific part of the process needs to be re-run; can the child flow be run on demand and will it still qualify under the parent flow's Process license?

Example: An orchestration cloud flow is running on a schedule and calls 2 child flows (sub-processes; each is a pair of 1 cloud flow with instant trigger which calls 1 desktop flow, then receives results from desktop flow and sends emails). If sub-process 1 fails on a certain day, it needs to be re-run manually.

I believe I've found the answer to my own question in the Microsoft Power Automate FAQ (updated after the 8/1/2023 licensing changes). Frequently asked questions about Power Automate licensing - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

The "My process has multiple flows. Will I need multiple Process licenses?" question has that in support of "microservices architecture" the Process license is applied to the flow that begins the process and as long as the child flows / related flows are inside the same Solution and using the same data sources, the child flows are considered "in context" and the 1 Process license covers it. If the business processes are separate and have different data sources, then additional Process licenses are required (the next question in the doc answers that).
