Hi I have a flow that pulls data from a planner and updates an excel sheet.
I pickup the original id for my excel Key by adding the planner task to the excel row and populate my key column with the planner task id
However I seem to be getting intermittent results. Reviewing a run I can see that I am receiving:
I have 393 rows in my table currently all populated from planner.
I use a List Tasks to pickup the tasks from planner,
I then use an apply to each containing a get a row, which compares the planner task id against the excel row key
If they match it updates the rows, if the do not match then it adds a new row.
Why is the planner id not always matching? When it is directly populated from planner?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Si
Make sure that all the headers are alphanumeric and not just integers.
I recently encountered this and came up with a workaround that may help.
My get a row action would fail for now reason when pulling data from a table based on a random ID #. The flow showed the table ID when listing the table but the "Get a row" action would fail.
So I initialized a boolean variable as false, put the randomizing action in a Do Until loop and set the loop to run until the boolean variable was set to true.
The I put the Get a Row action below the randomizer and put a Set Variable which, if Get a Row was successful, would set the Boolean Variable to true.
This meant when Get a Row failed it would rerun the randomization and Get a Row again.
I did try just running Do Until Get a Row was successful on the same value but it failed through the 60 cycle limit so I believe the way around this glitch is reintroducing whatever variable you're using to pull the row ID.
I hope this helps.

Hi MitheshRpa, not to speak for others but I believe the best solution is the workaround I listed just above. It's clear the connector has issues working so it's best to simply account for that by testing for failure and re"get"ing a row. I used a loop to ensure there were plenty of opportunities but it always gets a row the second time around so far.
Hi All,
I ran into the same issue and saw it being a problem intermittently and I think I've found the solution! The data.
Please check if the data contains additional spaces. It seems that a filter query like ColumnName eq 'Yes' will bring back all the items containing 'Yes' even if the field is 'Yes ' with a space at the end. This runs into an issue on the delete because if you're deleting the row where ColumnName is 'Yes' and it's really 'Yes ' it fails to match and therefore fails.
Solution?
Maybe see if you can implement some stricter rules on the excel sheet to prevent people typing things incorrectly.
Regards,
Suleman
