Hi,

I saw this shared mailbox trigger but, in my case I'm looking for Group mail box triggers I found the (When a new email arrives to a group V3) trigger preview, I was looking for a group mail box trigger for auto replies to group emails as well.

There is a o365 connector and the When a new email arrives to a group trigger. Is this what you were looking for?

This is what I was looking for but only part of it I still cannot find the auto reply connector for O365 since the When a new email arrives to a group is still in preview, I'm wondering if this feature exists yet?

okay may now I got you 🙃. You have a o365 group and you want to auto-respond.

• When: Do you want to auto-respond only, when an email was sent to this group?
• To whom: Do you want to auto-respond to the email-address which sent the mail to the o365 group?

Is it possible for you to explain your use case a bit more in detail here?

When someone send an email for the first time to this group I want them to get a auto-response, but only for the first message in the thread. Do you think this is possible at the moment?

Hi @Anonymous ,

hm. I think it could be possible. Assuming that you use the trigger when-a-new-email-arrives-to-a-group you can access it's "conversation thread id" and also, it's "post id".

Maybe you can find the first post of a thread and compare it to your given "post id". Eventually, they are the same, and you could try to respond.

Since this flow will always run when an email arrives, it (personally) feels wrong to me implementing it like this.

What is the purpose behind this email, and this there another way to achieve the result / your goal?

I don't believe there are any other ways to do this with a group email at least at the moment, so I think that I'm going to look into this at a later date to see if the feature ever gets added.

Alternatively you can use a third-party solution GroupOOF.

So, have we yet to figure out anything for this? I know they're Powershell compatible. It would just be easier if Microsoft incorporated autoreply functionality to group e-mails based on message IDs or something.

This seems like a 'low-hanging fruit' type of use case - why isn't it easier to implement in Power Automate?
