Hi,
I have multiple different automations that are sending email notifications and approvals twice to everyone, none of these are in an for all loop or an until loop, the automation is only showing that it ran twice is this a known issue?
Thanks
Hi please check if you do not have an apply to each within your flow. Usually apply to each and loops cause flows to ran activities twice as they are arrays of data they are processing for each information been send out. If you have an apply each, try to setup a condition that will make your flow to only send out email ounce.
Hi as stated above none of these emails or approvals are in a for each or until loop they are just standard send an email once the process has completed. I've also been in and set all the retires to NONE for each of these actions as well, and it still happening. The flow is only showing as run once and the action within the flow is showing the same as well. I've tried duplicating the flow and saving a new version and still get the issue.
Could it be anything to do with the connections?
I do not think it will be connections, if you do not mind can you send a screen shoot of your run flow result.
No problem the flow is quite large but here is a screen grab of on the approvals going through also the response body.:

I did have a look at the flows, and the content , I see no problems in those. Please check your approval activity, try to see if your configuration is not the one that makes the approval to send approval twice.
Try to do test cases for the above different approvals and observe their effect on your flow and choose the one that is relevant to you.
Thank checking the approval its first to respond, the alerts are sending about 30 minutes between each other as well which is even weird, I've had a user send me screen shots of the alerts they get, first comes through at 12:12 and then it sends it again at 12:51.
I was having no issues with until end of last week when it started doing it. its like its being triggered twice but the flow is only show as triggered once.
I have similar issue on one of my flow sending email with Outlook 365 - Send and email action. The flow is triggered once correctly. The action is running once correctly. Email appears on my Outlook sent folder once correctly. Duplicate emails received within a second with different mail IDs and timestamps.
