Resend Approval Request From Current Flow

Hey good evening,

I have a multi level approval Flow (about 5 approvals deep). The Flow is currently hanging on the 3rd approval. It did not fail, but according to the IT team, no email was sent to the 2 approvers configured.

I performed the following checks:
- I have checked the step before and the inputs that the approval is using seem to be valid (I assume the approval step would have failed otherwise).

- The approval has "Enable notifications" on.

- I have created a test approval, which I sent to one of the original's recipients. This was received and interacted with.

Is there a way to resend the notice for the current, hanging approval?

Just to verify that the approval can reach it's recipients?

Hi @geon_bell 

There might be a chance that the approval did not go through due to some issue with a parameter passed. You could log on to the action center (from the left nav bar on the flow page) and then check the approvals. If you own this flow, it uses your credential to create the approval and you should be able to see it in the sent approvals on the approval center.

Good day @yashag2255 , apologies for the extremely late reply.

As far as I can extensively confirm, there were no issues with the parameters. The action center shows that Flow reached that particular Approval and was awaiting feedback from the approvers. Of course, they could not approve as they never received the Approval via email.

The Flow was rerun and they received it. I'm not particularly happy with that outcome as it seriously damages Flows capabilities in the eyes of upper management, but it is what it is.

If I ever discover an actual reason for the behaviour, I will post here. Thank you very much for your time and attempted assistance.
