Send an HTTP request to SharePoint limit

Hi All,

In my flow, I am sending an HTTP request to SharePoint (POST method) to update columns of a document library.
In each document library I have created the following columns: ItemID (single line of text), ApprovalHistory (multiline of text), EmployeeName (single line of text).

I have just noticed that this Post method is not always successful as my ApprovalHistory tends to have hundreds of characters and when analysing the output I found out that there is an ErrorMessage: "This field can have no more than 255 characters.".
The flow does not fail, but the column does not get updated. Other columns do not get updated either.

Is there any way that the number of characters could be increased in this case or some other workaround that could help to record more characters than the mentioned limit?

A single-line text field in SharePoint is limited to 255 characters:

You can change the field to Multiple lines of text, which has a maximum length of 63,999 characters:
