Send an email notification (v3) magically stopped working

I have many flows that send emails to several people. Been great for a while. Then it quit all by itself. Power Automate shows it executed (see pic), but that's NOT the case. Nobody in the address list(s) will ever get an email. So, who flipped off some switch? Can you flip it back?

Unfortunately no change on my end. 
V3 is still not working. 

MS support came back with a list of questions. I have not gone through yet but I thought you may attempt the same and see if it works for you. The fact that I did not have to do any of the below on one of our tenancies does not make me very confident that step 2 will make any difference.

  1. Has the action “Send an Email Notifications (V3)” successfully sent an email before?
  2. Please try to submit this form (https://aka.ms/flow-mail) to manage your subscription of receiving email notifications:

Please check message traces in exchange admin center: https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/.

Are you using some products like Mimecast to filter emails in this tenant?

Response from MS saying it is now fixed. My emails from yesterday are now coming through, still a bit backlogged though

TUE 11/22/22 - V3 is still not working. I got a few emails to my personal Yahoo account, but then that stopped again. V3 has yet to send an email since FRI 11/11/22 to my company account or any of my colleagues company accounts.

MON 11/28/2022 - Day  #17. No. It is still not working.

This is what MS is saying but it's still not working on one of our tenancies

This is fixed now and its working fine.

Yes it’s working for me as well. The delay was due to the IP reputation. Now that the IP reputation has recovered, everything is working fine

It worked for me for 2 days and then again stopped working, so as of now it is not working.

Just checked today MON 12/05/2022 & it is no longer working for me either.

This is also not working for me and my tenant. 

Just gonna fill these out from the questions MS support asked of capoaus75:

 

1. The "Send an Email Notification (V3)" action has successfully sent emails before, in dozens of flows
2. Already tried using the "Manage PowerApps and Flows Subscription List" form, this did not resolve our issue
3. Nothing shows up at all in the message traces in the exchange admin center
4. Can confirm that our Mimecast filter is not blocking any emails, because the emails are not even reaching our filter at all.

Yes, for me as well! It actually came back on WED 12/07/2022. I think the problem is with the email address itself. Moving forward, I will be updating all my flows to use a different sending address.

Ran into the same problem yesterday. A flow that has been running for a couple of years suddenly stopped sending emails using the V3 connector. No errors, history looks fine but no e-mails sent. So it's still not working as it should. The V2 connector works fine so I'm switching to that one now.

this is an old thread, but after doing research, it looks like V3 just dies now and then for fun. Mine also died as of last night and its been working fine. I'll go through the process of changing it to V2 I guess.

We have users reporting this issue today and our test of a brand-new flow failed as well.  This is a frustrating issue.

The same problem exists for me on 4/17/2024.

The connector successfully sends emails to some users (including myself) but fails to even include others in the recipient list. One of my automations sends to a single user and copies me: the "To:" field ends up blank while my address is successfully used in the "CC" field.

I have already checked that the recipient address has been "resubscribed" to receive messages from microsoft@powerapps.com to no avail. All other members of my team receive these automated messages just fine. Our Mimecast spam filter has already been adjusted to whitelist that address and does not indicate that it's even receiving these messages intended for the user.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!    This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
