My current flow gets items from a sharepoint list created within the last 4 hours. I want to set a condition if the threshold exceeds the number of records created, it send an email. In the condition, when I put Outputs is greater than or equal to a # (ie. 30). It works, but I'd like to set different thresholds for different issue types. I created a column in the SharePoint called "Threshold" that assigns the threshold for that specific issue type. However, when I put the threshold column from the dynamic content it throws it into an apply to each and sends multiple emails vs. just one. Any ideas are welcomed. thank you.
Approach it this way
After Get items, add parallel branches for each Issue type, get the threshold value in a variable and compare against it.
@SudeepGhatakNZ Thanks so much I was trying to set a variable as well but issue is I have about 200-250 different issue types 😞 Is there a way to set a variable that adjusts based on the issue without having to do separate branches?
In that case you can achieve it using two flows.
Create a separate list named "Thresholds" with three columns, [Issue type, Threshold, Count]
Your first flow will update the count in the other table for each Issue type by looping through each record.
Your second flow will run on the second list and send email if Count > Threshold for any record. Will that work?
That would work! @SudeepGhatakNZ . I like that approach. How could I get a count of each of the different type of issues. For example, below I'd have a count of 3 in yellow and then 1 of the rest (uniqueissues)

Hello @SudeepGhatakNZ the only concern is that I would have to do a filter array for each potential issue type. (which there are hundreds) above screen shot is only a small snippet. I need it to just read a column and tell me how much of each one is in that column.

Why don't you have a separate SP list to act as a lookup for issue types? e.g.
List:
issueTypeThresholds
Cols:
issueType | Threshold
x | 30
Then in your flow, go grab the threshold for the associated issue type.
The attachment I provided you is an exported flow.
You can import it in your environment to go through the logic.
