SharePoint List flows with Power Automate - Manage run-only by List

When providing access to run-only for a list in Power Automate, it is requested according to the documentation that a 'Edit' permission level is required, however, sometimes, people cannot have some functionalities available (as Delete) , even though they must me able to execute flow.

So, my questions are:

1. Is this rule applied for ‘List Permission’ or ‘Site Permission’ inside ‘Edit’ permission level?
2. Which specific option allows user which have access to this list to run-only the flow?
3. ..Or is it applied by the name of permission level – ‘Edit’?

It will be better if you give flow permission specific user or group instead sharepoint group.

Okay, I did that already, however I want to understand how it was designed and work.
It is much better provide access for a group of people instead manually maintain it.

First specify what connector you use to create a flow

@teixeire based on your query, i have set up one flow with the connector Named as Trigger the flow for the selected item and i have gave the permission same as you given on your post. And i found that if a person on the list have read access he/she will not be able to trigger the flow. So you have to give edit permission on the list to your user's ,if you want to make it them to trigger the flow.

I have users with edit permission who is not able to run the flow.
My query is exactly: Edit Permission as SharePoint default list permission, but which inside it provide the real access to run the flow, as I have custom permissions with right to edit list who cannot run the flow

it must be the default EDIT from SharePoint or I can have a custom permission with Edit items inside it ?

By default when you create a SharePoint list it takes same permission as SharePoint site has, so you have to break list default permission and then after your list have unique permission, which you can modify as per your need. My flow working on unique permission.
