The Cloud Flow of "When a file is created or modified in a folder" does not start automatically when a new file is uploaded

Hi all,

I have been using Cloud Power Automate for a short while and I am really happy with it.

My issue is that the cloud flow of When a file is created or modified in a folder works only when I Test it Manually.

It is turned ON and whenever I place any file in the dedicated folder, the flow does not get triggered.

It is a simple flow to copy (create) the uploaded file to my local Windows drive:

You can also see that it is active and ON

and the Details for the specific flow are below:

Is there something else I need to do?

The trigger is often not instantaneous. Can take a minute or 2

I am sure you are uploading the docs in the right folder?

Question: How are you testing manually? With a manual trigger, you mean?

Thank you for a prompt reply.

Yes, I am 100% certain that the files are uploaded in the right folder.

Regarding the "manual trigger" what I meant was that I clicked on the "Manually" option

and then uploaded the file and the flow worked like a charm!

I will take on your suggestion and wait it out and see how long it takes to trigger the flow.

For sure I will give you a Thumbs up if it works, but your reply is appreciated anyway 🙂

It worked exactly as you mentioned. It took about 2 minutes.

I guess I was expecting an instant triggering, but since it works it is fine by me.
