Time zone string showing as invalid for conversion

From the image, I am trying to convert a variable UTC date to a variable time zone, but am getting an error during the conversion. I am pulling data from a JSON response which includes a time zone to convert to, but it uses GMT instead of PA's UTC. For example, the JSON returns a time zone of (GMT-06:00) Saskatchewan where PA would use (UTC-06:00) Saskatchewan. So I'm using a replace function to change GMT to UTC. But when it run I get an error "the value provided for the time zone id '(UTC-06:00) Saskatchewan' was not valid." I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong in the conversion.

If you choose a dropdown value and click the 'peek code', you will find the 'real' value.

Huh, kind of odd that the time zones that they give in the UI don't match the ones they use in the code. Is there a special way one has to write the time zone in order to use it? I ask because of the following:

I built an Excel table to translate the time zones in my data source to the ones used by PA, with data pulled above. I then made two convert time zone steps, one where I just typed in Canada Central Standard Time in to the custom field, and the other where I use the value from the Excel sheet.

One works, but the other does not. Is there something I need to be doing differently? Thanks for the help so far.

Hi @IAQG ,

The cause root is the whitespace.

Firstly I copy the value and paste with format in Excel cell.

Then I encode the string in flow.

You will see it is not the real whitespace.

This is the real whitespace after encoded in flow.

Now we can use replace function solve it.

That's pretty bizarre, but it works, so thank you. I hope the PA team can make this more intuitive in future updates.
