Update D365CE record throws "HTTP Error 400. The request URL is invalid."

Hi everybody,

 

here is my problem:

 

I run an reccurance on all appointments inside our CRM instance. I filter all of them in an array to identify all records where "scheduledend" is lessorequal today.

After that I want to update all results and set the status to "completed".Anmerkung 2019-06-04 090540.pngAnmerkung 2019-06-04 090631.png

The filter delivers the correct results set of appointments.

 

I want to accomplish that appointments does not need to get manually marked as completed by the users.

 

The error-message delivers this body:

Hi @Anonymous 

Tap into the identifier field not the apply to each field. You will see options to select from the dynamic selector and from there you can select the Appointment ID.

Can you confirm if you have enabled access to set the values on those records in that entity?

 

Also, the environemnt in which you are creating the flow and the environement you are connecting to are those same?

 

Can you try logging out of the current session close the browser and start a fresh session and then retry again?

 

Also, you can try using the common data services (CDS) connector to achieve this (If your D365 instance is online and I am assuming it is)

thanks for your reply.

I tried to switch to CDS connector but this delivers exactly the same error as using D365 connector.

Logging off and on from the session also does not solve the problem. I even deleted all-time cache from browser to be sure.

 

I am dealing with Dynamics CRM since 3.0 and wonder, what you mean with "...Can you confirm if you have enabled access to set the values on those records in that entity?..."

The Flow from PowerApps Page (!not Flow-Page from O365!) is created and running under D365-serviceaccount. There should be no limitation concerning access to the CRM.

So after you run the flow, you get the error on which action? Can you please post a screenshot of that?

the error occurs at the final stage where the records should get updated.

The record count is correct.

I am guessing that some data type mismatch might be causing this error. Can you please also add a screenshot of the flow of this particular acton where the recors is being updated? I want to see the identifier and the values you are updating. (barring any sensitive information)

The error is coming in because of the identifier. Yo are using the entire value set over there. Instead, please tap into the identifier and from the dynamic content selector, select the ID of the particular value in the loop.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!    This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
