Urgent: Yellow Bracket causes condition to become false

Hello Team,

Issue :- Condition coming false

Issue Explained :- The output of compose 12 should match the output of compose 13, as I am matching the criterion.

I provided four items (Head of, Director, Board / Owner, and Manager) as inputs for Compose 12. The Manager input worked flawlessly, but the other three did not. I confirmed that both of the raw outputs were strings, but I am still concerned about the yellow rectangle that appears in Compose 13 at the conclusion. Is this the reason why my condition testing has come back as false?

For the manager, everything is going as planned:-

Screenshot of Issue:- However, the remaining three (Head of, Director, Board / Owner) have the same flow with no changes in code, but the yellow bracket appears at the end(Compose13) and the condition becomes false:-

Hello @v-jefferni ,

Please find the below ScreenShot:-

Compose11:-split(variables('VarBrandSeniorityName'), ',')
Applytoeach_10:-
Compose12:-
trim(toLower(items('Apply_to_each_10')))
Compose13:-
trim(toLower(variables('VarRawDataJobSeniority')))

Condition:-
Left:- outputs('Compose12')
Right:-outputs('Compose13')

Thank you,
Ruchika

Hi @Ruchika01 ,

Question: why the value in Compose 13 which is variable VarRawDataJobSeniority changes in Apply to each for a single run?

Hello @v-jefferni

See, compose 13 contains the value of raw data of a single individual.
Compose 12 has which we are comparing the value to.

why the value in Compose 13 which is variable VarRawDataJobSeniority changes in Apply to each for a single run?
-> Are you saying this after seeing the topmost images? Then I have sent images of different iterations just for showing what is happening. If you dont mean this can you elaborate what exactly are you saying?\

If the output of 12 and 13 are supposed to match, why do you need both compose actions? Can you show the expression you used in these two actions as well as the data that is being sent to them when they do not match?

Hello @David_MA

I had directly written them in condition but to also check both the variables, I added them in composes. So whenever the flow runs I am able to see what is coming in both the variables.

Compose12:- trim(toLower(items('Apply_to_each_10'))) [Coming from SharePoint List]
Compose13:-
trim(toLower(variables('VarRawDataJobSeniority')))  [Coming from HTTP]

Condition:-
Left:- outputs('Compose12')
Right:-outputs('Compose13')
Thank you,
Ruchika

Hi @Ruchika01 ,

Sorry for the late. I suspect there is a special character but cannot display in flow. Could you please use a length function to check the number of characters of each value?
