add a date column to a Sharepoint list online of another column's modification date

How can I add a date column to a Sharepoint list of another column's modification date so that the date does not change every day it just takes the modification date on a specific field

Hi @BayanAlmoqati 

Take this flow design as an example

Here i need to monitor the date in which To column was modified, for that i have created a column named To Modifcation in SharePoint List

Now see the flow design to update the To Modifcation with modifcation dates of To Column.

Step 1: for initiating the flow, i am using trigger when item is created or modified 

(Note: you can change the trigger depending upon your requirement)

Step 2: To detect changes done for modified item, use Get changes for item/file action 

Expression:  concat(sub(int(split(triggerOutputs()?['body/{VersionNumber}'],'.')?[0]),1),'.0')

This expression helps to compute previous version number by subtracting one from current version of modfiied item

Step 3: Check using condition whether To Modfiication column has changed or not ?

If the condition satisfies, then in yes branch use update item to update the item with To Modification column with value of modified by date of item

I did this with the same steps as you, but the last date should be the modified date 8/10, but why take a date before that?

There is a issue with the new column time not taking the correct modification date taken the date correct but with different time. what is the solution for this?

Hi @BayanAlmoqati 

I think this may be due to UTC format of time, try converting the modified datetime to specific timezone, use function  convertFromUtc() for that, it will convert the utc timezone to other timezone.

So this function on your modfiied timezone to convert it from utc.
