I have Canvas app/ Dataverse solution that I would like to share with all team members, who have the required power app licence.
I have a custom table in the solution, but other user cannot see the table data in canvas app: gallery control.
I am not sure, what I am missing:
My tried out solution that did not work:
1: Editing security role and add full permission to custom entity/table,

2: Adding a new security role and add it in solution.
3: Adding a co author role to the user.
The only thing that worked was providing my user power platform admin access.

I cannot provide admin access to all the user.
Is there any other solution or work around?
Please let me know if I have missed anything.

Can you try to check the users access to a particular row in one of your tables to see if they truly have access?
You can use the Check Access command in a form to do so. More information here.

When you say you granted your user "co author role", is that that the name of your new custom security role? Or do you mean you set the person as co-owner of the app?
You need to assign your user the custom security role with permissions to the custom tables in order for them to see the data. Setting the user as a co-owner of your app does not give them access to the data, only the ability to modify your app which you probably don't want.

Yes, I have given the user: co-owner access. ( I am trying all possible solution)
I have also created custom security role and assigned it to user.
But I cannot see the Dataverse table in power app.
I there something that I have missed?
Hi @PaulMatha,
How did you create your custom security role? Did you copy the basic user role and then add the additional permissions for the custom table? Or did you create it from scratch? It's recommended to copy the basic user role and modify that copy since the basic user role has a bunch of core permissions needed to properly use an app (e.g read privileges to a bunch of tables under Customization tab).

I was able to solve my problem.
The issue was with column security as table security and column security is different.
Your comment to check row level access was helpful.

We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
